Please help our client run the 2016 NYC Marathon for Autism!
Salaheddine is the son of one of the kindest and most ambitious clients to work through our doors. When I found out that Salaheddine was not only a long-distance runner, but that he was taking on the 2016 New York City Marathon for the EJ Autism Foundation, I pledged to help him achieve these fundraising and physical goals any way I can.
As many of you may already know, especially if you follow the firm on Instagram, I am a long distance runner and, in my humble opinion, the NYC Marathon is one of the best competitive races is in the world. Experiencing all five boroughs of our beautiful city before the roar of 2 million+ spectators , it's just magical.
What many of you may not know is that my older sister is a Special Education Teacher for children with Autism and other physical and developmental disabilities. As such, foundations such as the EJ Autism Foundation, who are making a difference in the lives of children with Autism, their families, and dedicated teachers, are near and dear to my heart.
As Salaheddine will soon discover, running the marathon for charity brings the experience to another level. Athletes are able to dig even deeper, past self-doubt, fatigue, and exhaustion, knowing that the lives of so many are impacted by their strength on that day. This year, runners in the 2016 TCS New York City Marathon are raising vital funds for more than 330 charities. Your support is helping this community of dedicated athletes add meaning to their miles and make a significant positive impact in New York City communities and around the world. It is truly profound and inspiring!
Salaheddine has set up a Crowd Rise Fundraising Page for his fundraising efforts with his running team. Every dollar helps not only in getting Salahhedine across the finish line, but bringing awareness and support to New Yorkers touched by Autism, and helping the TCS New York City Marathon achieve its fundraising goal of raising $1 Million for every mile of the marathon.
Thank you so much for your generous support!
Looking forward to seeing you at the finish line on November 6, Salaheddine!
