If it wasn't obvious from her photo, Jasmine Leiselsen is the identical twin sister of attorney Katia Teirstein. After a career in the hospitality and snowboarding industry, Jasmine became a Paralegal nearly three years ago. She is a graduate of the University of Washington in Seattle, where she earned a Bachelors Degree with a major in Comparative History of Ideas with a focus in English. Jasmine’s research thesis on the construction of gender identity within unorganized sport was chosen for publication by the Comparative History of Ideas program in 2006.

Jasmine splits her time between New York City, Seattle, and the Cascade mountains, where she is an avid snowboarder and hiker. She enjoys traveling and adventure, having backpacked throughout Europe and Asia. She and her fiancé, Chad, completed a six-week snowboarding road trip throughout the Canadian and U.S. Rocky Mountains during the winter of 2016. Some of her favorite travel memories include motorcycling through the mountains along the Burma-Thailand border, swimming with black tip reef sharks in Ko Toa, Thailand, drinking wine while watching the sunset in Tuscany, Italy, and eating escargot at her favorite restaurant in the Montmartre district of Paris. Her favorite things to do in New York include enjoying a latte while watching the holiday ice-skaters outside our office in Bryant Park, patio lunches and sangria during the summer in Little Italy, people-watching over Halal sandwiches in Midtown, and (much to her sister’s dismay) rooting on the Seattle Mariners when they play the Yankees in the Bronx.
